Chanel 'Boy' Bag Collection Fall/Winter 2011-2012

Chanel debuted the 'Boy' bag line with the fall/winter 2011-2012 collection and is set to hit Chanel boutiques in September. The new 'Boy' bag is inspired by the cartridge bags used by hunters and perfectly reflects the boyish spirit of Chanel, yet keeping the house's legendary sophistication and refinement.

Chanel bags have always been a must on every fashionista's lust-list. The famous fashion house has always created ladylike and sophisticated designs, therefore their creations became some of the most sought after bags. When saying Chanel bag we instantly think of the already iconic "flap" handbag 2.55 that was created by Coco Chanel in 1955 and which was inspired by her childhood and adult life.

However, times have changed and now, the legendary house introduces a new collection of handbags that brings a fresh, slightly edgy approach, yet maintaining the same degree of sophistication and class. Called 'Boy Chanel' the new bag is not meant for men. Characterized by a chic androgynous flair, the collection draws its inspiration from the hunting cartridge style that Coco Chanel herself used to embrace
