While Kim Kardashian's upcoming summer nuptials are being hailed as America's version of England's royal wedding, it looks like the reality TV star is going to be up against some pretty stiff competition. Though Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have resisted marriage for the past six years, Us Weekly now reports that three separate sources have confirmed that the couple are finally ready to tie the knot -- in just a few months!
The wedding is said to possibly take place at the couple's newly renovated home in France, but unlike Brad's previous wedding to Jennifer Aniston in 2000, it won't be a big, expensive event. In fact, one source has explained that Pitt and Jolie are hoping for an intimate and informal wedding when they say their "I do's."
The couple has famously insisted on not getting married, although they have been dating for quite some time and even have six kids together, until it is legal for everyone to marry who they love, whether it be of the same or opposite sex. However, because their kids are getting older and have started questioning their parents' relationship, it looks like their minds have changed!
"The kids ask about marriage," Pitt said in a recent interview. It's meaning more and more to them. So it's something we've got to look at."
Brad and Angelina have six kids together - Maddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5 and Vivienne and Knox (twins), 3. Looks like the kids may be getting their wish!
